Clementine

Meet Clementine! This 1-year old refreshing orange creamsicle came to us from local animal control after her owner could no longer care for her and she is GORGEOUS! We know that Clementine has had multiple homes in her short life and had an “accidental” litter of puppies earlier this year. In fact, it shows – she might have her own campfire rendition of “Do Your Ears Hang Low” but modifies the lyrics to suit her frame. But no more! She is on the up-and-up and enjoying being the baby herself, showered with attention, which she adores.

Clementine is a buff-colored American Bully beauty and has the most perfect nose freckles and stunning carrot-cake-inspired red merle coat. Her heterochromia eyes (one blue + one hazel) are beautiful and add to her uniqueness, along with her squishy baby thighs (sometimes the thick life picks you!). She runs with rotund exuberance, and it is quite a sight. Sweet Clem is shy and a bit worried and takes a hot minute to warm up to new situations. We mean this in a literal sense – she warms up quickly, soaking up all the love and adventures she can, but needs someone who is in tune with her comfort level and who won’t force her into situations of distress.

Clementine LOVES to walk and sniff and explore – typical for her young and innocent age. She loves to be close and is gentle and affectionate and loyal…though “the paw” might come out if you aren’t giving her enough attention. Haha! Let’s be honest – we all need more vitamin C and our citrusy girl will give you a healthy dose of charming charisma with some cheerfulness to spare. She is a supreme invader of personal space and sploots to perfection while enjoying a good nylabone. And like the most amazing fruit hybrid, Clementine’s personality has a refreshingly sweet tang. Due to her size and lack of history, older kids would be best for this juicy and sweet tangerine dream.

Clementine’s top 3 priorities:
1. A family with a mom, as Clem gravitates towards women, who will make this sweet girl feel allll the love.
2. A family who will take the time to allow Clem to open up on her terms and feel comfortable adapting to new situations on her terms without rushing new experiences.
3. A family who is looking for an out-of-this-world and amazing companion – someone to share adventures and snuggles.
