Shirley Temple

Meet Shirley Temple! This 5-month old incredibly social sweet treat came to us from local animal control after being found as a stray, and like everyone’s favorite mocktail, is sure to be a hit with her forever family!

Sweet Shirley is a star! Just a realllly good girl who has charmed every veterinary staff member she has encountered. They all say the same thing…”what a nice puppy!” Ms. Temple is an adorably pint-sized sweetheart. Her sweetness oozes from every cell of her being and she has been incredibly friendly with dogs, cats, and people in her foster home. This girl stands out and is a natural child entertainer with her bubbly personality and social nature. Our Shirley is not much for singing but will dance her way into your heart with her endearing quirks. If you dilly-dally outside, Shirley will sit down to patiently wait. Shirlz is happy to jump into the shower with her humans and loves to drink out of the bathtub faucet like a cat. A leaf dancing in the wind can mesmerize her for a good long while.

Her inky black coat is gorgeous (and matches everything!) and her wide and innocently bright eyes are meant for showing love. This kiddy cocktail would be the cherry on top for an active family looking for a great companion! Cheers!

Puppies are soooooo cute, and puppy breath is THE BEST! But puppies are a lot of work and take dedication, patience, love, training, and real commitment to turn them into amazing adults. And a reminder that while puppies are undeniably adorable, they also represent a long-term commitment. Medium sized dogs often live 12-16 years, and we’re looking for a family that’s excited to love, guide, and care for this puppy through every stage of life – from playful puppyhood to her senior years. A friendly reminder that our adoption requirements, including enrollment in an approved puppy training class prior to adoption, are posted on our website at: cropsandflopsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/adoption-policies

Shirley Temple’s top 3 priorities:

1. A FUN family who is looking for a realllllllly good more mature and very social puppy!
2. A family willing to continue to work on house-training. Shirley has come SO FAR in her limited time with us and just needs some gentle consistency to cross the finish line!
3. A family who is looking for adventures for a young pup with energy to burn! This effervescent little lady loves to be part of the action.

Adoption Donation

Note: We spend well over $500 on the average intact adult dog coming into our rescue, which covers all standard vetting including spay/neuter, equipment, food, and preventative care while with us. The cost only rises if a deserving dog needs any additional vetting, and even simple appointments add up fast. While our adoption fees are intentionally lower to find great homes more quickly, we will gladly and graciously take additional donations to help offset these fees!
