Crops and Flops Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit boutique-style dog rescue focusing on quality matchmaking between pibbles in need and loving forever homes. Our rescue is small and our focus is on making quality lifelong connections. We invest time in both our deserving dogs and potential adopters to make sure you feel supported every step of the way. And Crops and Flops Rescue, Inc. operates as an all-volunteer, foster-home based rescue, which means we can focus every single penny towards supporting dogs in need. Discrimination is the pits and we are honored to be positive breed ambassadors to these magical, yet misunderstood beings. We truly believe in the power of community and second chances.
We save Massachusetts-based homeless pit bull type dogs and place them into loving forever homes. We celebrate that every dog is an individual and pride ourselves on making lifelong matches to assist in elevating the reputation and public perception of pit bull type dogs in the communities we serve.
Crops and Flops Rescue, Inc. does NOT condone ear cropping – a barbaric, painful, and unnecessary mutilation of naturally floppy ears. But…we love each and every dog that comes through our doors and are dedicated to saving dogs in need regardless of the misinformed decisions of ignorant humans.
Personally, we are a down-to-earth bunch of rescuers who adore pitties and are focused on making perfect matches between deserving dogs and wonderful forever families. Our team of volunteers are kindhearted souls who have years of rescue and shelter experience. They are here to make a difference in the lives of all the dogs that come through our doors and enjoy meeting terrific families along the way.
Our founders lives forever changed when they stumbled upon their first pibble adoption…they had applied for a different dog and the rescue led them to Charlie, a perfect pittie match. Recognizing all the wonderful pit bulls who need homes, they vowed to always have a pittie (or more!) underfoot. Charlie was lost to cancer at a young age, but his legacy, and the legacy of those who came after him, live on in all the pit bulls who have been helped on their journey to happiness through fostering and rescue work.
But if we’re honest, it’s not about us…it’s about dogs in need. These beautiful creatures are worthy of love and happiness and will always be our first priority.
