Meet Kit Kat! This 11-month old (calorie free!) sweet treat came to us from local animal control after her owner could no longer care for her and she is delectable! To say Kat is dog-friendly is the understatement of the year. Originally in a household with 6 other dogs, this petite pittie comes alive in the presence of other dogs. She is submissive and tolerant of lots of different canine (and feline) personalities and would LOVE another dog in the house as a best friend.
Kit Kat has her own hilarious personality! She has the most extensive regime of stretches every time she gets up from a lounge session and we wonder if she’s mimicking Sun Salutation version A or B. Gimme a break – she is adorable! Her coat is the perfect balance of rich dark chocolate and wafer coloring and with those sweet milk chocolate freckles dotted across her nose and her delicate features, she is next-level cute!
Everything about Kat is dainty – her face, her paws, her personality. She is a soft dog, with an even softer personality and is a pure delight. Because she had only known one home in her short life, she needed a bit of time to come around in her foster home, and having canine foster brothers and sisters has helped tremendously. She enjoys their company immensely and has the best (and most frequent!) play bow we have ever seen. It’s kind of her signature move. Indulging in candy is a reminder to treat ourselves with kindness and Kat will definitely add a touch of sweetness to your life. This charmingly sensitive spirit is house- and crate-trained, dog- and cat-friendly, and ready to sweeten the lives of a lucky forever family. Break off a piece of bliss today! Because of her lack of history, older kids would be best for Kat.
Kit Kat’s top 3 priorities: 1. A family with another resident dog (or two!) to give Kat confidence and let her be her playful self! 2. A family devoted to making the world a kind place and letting Kat go at her own pace with new experiences. 3. A family with lots and lots of love to make Kat feel safe and one where she can snuggle into bed at night for alllll the cuddles.

Note: We spend well over $500 on the average intact adult dog coming into our rescue, which covers all standard vetting including spay/neuter, equipment, food, and preventative care while with us. The cost only rises if a deserving dog needs any additional vetting, and even simple appointments add up fast. While our adoption fees are intentionally lower to find great homes more quickly, we will gladly and graciously take additional donations to help offset these fees!
