We’re goin’ streaking through the quad! Meet Frank the Tank! This 4-year old lowrider came to us from local animal control after being found as a stray and he is old school to the max. In fact, we love dogs his age! Frank is goofy, appropriately playful, and gets an A++ in manners. He walks well on a leash, doesn’t mouth, is perfectly crate- and house-trained, and rides well in the car. He is a confident dog with a calm and quiet energy who would fit into so many households. Earmuffs? Not needed – swear words and even July 4th fireworks don’t seem to faze him. And this meatball has been great at keeping his calm energy around his pledge brothers (and sisters) in a multi-dog and cat household. He is the king of graciously co-existing!
Frank’s weight is deceiving…this beefcake is stocky, has a low center of gravity, and is 60 glorious pounds of compact muscle. He could likely take a tranq dart to the neck without feeling a thing, but we don’t want to test that theory. Frank is low-key and non-destructive. He can get a little enthusiastic with the water dish, but don’t worry…the pledges will clean it up. His extracurricular activities include snuggling, eating rogue leaves off the sidewalk, and snapping at horseflies that get a little too close.
True love is hard to find, but Frank has you covered. This hunk o’ burning love loves to be close and show affectionate with his humans. In fact, he was thinking you could go back home…have some dinner and pop in the Sisqo CD. He has the inkiest eyes and the silkiest jet-black coat and is looking to connect. This beefcake is so easy-going and incredibly social. He just needs a nest in a tree of trust and understanding. Due to his size and lack of history, older kids for this sweet man.
Frank’s top 3 priorities: 1. A family who can show him he is a valued member of the family and allows him to be part of the action. 2. A family who appreciates just how amazing he truly is – he is so easygoing and easy to love! 3. A family dedicated to lots of snuggle time and isn’t fussy about dogs on furniture!

The cost only rises if a deserving dog needs any additional vetting, and even simple appointments add up fast. While our adoption fees are intentionally lower to find great homes more quickly, we will gladly and graciously take additional donations to help offset these fees!
