Not just for tea and toast…Meet Honey! This 1-year old is as sweet as her name and came to us after her owner became unwell and could no longer care for her. Honey, locally sourced with love, is a spoonful of sweetness and has won the hearts of everyone she has met! Her temperament is as good as they come. Seriously! She is ridiculously adorable, extremely affectionate, incredibly social and loving, and dog- and cat-friendly. Oh, and a Stage 5 clinger! Honey loves to be close, loves belly rubs, and loves to be told how beautiful she is. She’s very perceptive and super smart. She might pull on leash if she sees a bunny while out on a stroll but stops on command. She’s relaxed and calm in the car, gravitates to the finer things in life like a nice steak, and is a dream in the house, soaking up the sunspot with gusto.
Honey is filled with sugary goodness and has a great balance of showcasing her athleticism outside and settling in the house. Like a graceful ice skater, this lanky powerhouse jumps in circles while playing (à la double axel) and always sticks the landing. And she equally loves to nap! Though social and adventurous, Honey can be innocently curious and hesitant when exploring brand new things. She is charmingly quirky and full of personality. She might gather all of your shoes into a pile but does not chew them. From the flower, to the hive, to your home, Honey will not disappoint! She is petite at a compact 50-lbs, has the face of a supermodel, loving eyes, and a gentle but spirited energy. We can’t wait for someone to bring Honey out of the plastic bear and into a loving forever home. Due to her age and lack of history, older kids would be best for this naturally sweet fructose-filled baby nectar.
Honey’s top 3 priorities: 1. A family looking for a well-rounded (and gorgeous) pup! 2. A family with another dog who is up for daily play sessions. 3. A family who is home often…a highly social dog like Honey would thrive with companionship.

The cost only rises if a deserving dog needs any additional vetting, and even simple appointments add up fast. While our adoption fees are intentionally lower to find great homes more quickly, we will gladly and graciously take additional donations to help offset these fees!
