Meet Moira Rose! This 5-year old bold and beautiful bébé came to us from local animal control after finding herself up Schitt’s Creek and being picked up as a stray multiple times. Even though she must adjust to a different life, Moira is still a confident and funny girl with a well-to-do attitude who knows exactly what she wants (and isn’t afraid to ask for it!). She will happily put her paw on your thigh or nuzzle her head under your hand to let you know that she needs attention.
Do you love lots of adventures? Moira would be pleased to RSVP as pending. She is a go-with-the-flow kind of gal and prefers to putter and sniff over taking a 10 mile hike. Going for a run? Ew, David. Moira is kind of a foodie (Fold in the Cheese!) and will happily take any and all culinary offerings with enthusiasm. This dog- and cat-friendly lady never acts like a disgruntled pelican and is a true GEM of snuggling perfection!
Mo Mo is proof of the transformational effects of love and acceptance every single day, thriving with consistency in her foster home. She is simply the BEST and just needs a Rosebud Motel room all her own! Moira is currently on a medical hold after sustaining a leg fracture as a puppy, which developed into a bone infection that hadn’t been treated for years. We are exploring her prognosis to determine her best path forward for a healthy and pain-free life! Because of her size and lack of history, older kids would be best for this beloved pup.
Moira Rose’s top 3 priorities: 1. A family who is ready for a plug and play, terrific right out of the box kind of gal! 2. A family who is into snuggling and wants to cuddle on the couch and in bed. Full contact is required virtually all the time. 3. A family who spends time at home so that Moira can be part of the action in a loving family.

Note: We spend well over $500 on the average intact adult dog coming into our rescue, which covers all standard vetting including spay/neuter, equipment, food, and preventative care while with us. The cost only rises if a deserving dog needs any additional vetting, and even simple appointments add up fast. While our adoption fees are intentionally lower to find great homes more quickly, we will gladly and graciously take additional donations to help offset these fees!
